Obituary of Annie L. LeBlanc
Annie Louise Macknight LeBlanc on Thursday, May 28th, 2020 ; Annie was Born in St. Stephen, NB. She is the daughter of the late Thomas Earl & Ethel (Weatherby) Macknight. Born, July 22, 1929 at home in her grandmother's house, in St. Stephen NB.
Predeceased by husband Paul LeBlanc, Sister M. Elizabeth Grant, who passed away March 23, 2022, and Grandson Trevor Duchesneau, brother Wayne MacKnight, who passed away January 13, 2021 and sister in law Tanya MacKnight, who passed away January 19, 2023.
Annie attended Oak Bay School, graduated St. Stephen High. Annie worked several jobs ,Telephone operator ,Advertising for different papers. Took several courses to further her education some were St Andrew, CC Washington Technical. St John Ambulance. Annie was also a member of the RCL Jr. Ladies Auxiliary St. Croix Branch # 9.
She is survived by one sister Jeannette Johnson, daughter E. Annette Duchesneau (Bob Duchesneau who passed away June 1, 2021), Marion (Kenny) Young, 3 Step Children Darlene, Michelle and Paul Jr. LeBlanc; who passed away February 27, 2021, 3 grandsons David (Robin Gersten) ,Matthew & Adele Duchesneau, Joseph Gaddas, 2 granddaughters Leigh-Anne(Scott)MacLeod, Nicole LeBlanc 3 great-grandsons Jacob, Trevor Duchesneau, Todd (Erika) Rich, 3 great granddaughters Sadie, Indie, Ivey McLeod, 2 great great grandsons Brandon & Joshua Rich, several nieces and nephews.
Annie was By Annie’s request, cremation took place.
A memorial graveside service will take place on Friday, July 26th, 2024 at 1:00 pm at Oak Bay Rural Cemetery. A reception will take place at 3:00 pm at the Oak Bay School House.
In lieu of flowers donations to a charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family. Online condolences to the family or donations can be made at www.humphreysfh.com.
