I have fond memories of Grammy Lou from spending time with her at the school house. She was always welcoming, with a great sense of humor. We continued our friendship through visits when she was in assisted living, and we had many long telephone conversations in between and even after we could no longer go visit due to Covid. I will always remember how special she was and how special she made me feel.
