Aunt C was a beautiful person inside an out. So many memories I wouldn’t know where to start. We were Pen Pals too, I miss her letters, but I kept writing. The blanket someone made for her to give to my parents Al& Rita 50 th Wedding Anniversary was beautiful.I loved all our chats on the phone lol.

I knew “Celie” as a very close friend of my late husband’s family- the Gormans. She had a gentle nature and coined many phrases I still use (such as “There’s nothing stranger than people”. She was so loyal to my mom- in- law, Marg Gorman and it was mutual. She was a woman of faith and surely has a place in Heaven. Anne Gorman

Sincere Condolences for this profound loss.Cecilia was interested in what was happening in our Congregation of Notre Dame Associate community. She was a devoted associate since 1983 and would have been one of the founding members. We were blessed and proud to have had her with the Fredericton group. I know she is enjoying that peace we all hope to experience someday.

Dear family…especially Edith, Jim and all the nieces I have met during the years.
I have known Cecilia since we were in high school at St. Mary’s in Newcastle. We reconnected after the years I was away in other places and it was great to enjoy again her happy personality, her generous ways, her quick witty quips, and her laughter. She was special in many ways and enjoyed special friendships and connections. Her faith was a guide she trusted always. I am confident she is safe, secure and enjoying a new life.

Dear Family,
It was with sadness that I learned of Cecilia's passing. We have a long history dating back to the fifties when our family lived in Woodstock. She quickly became a close friend and this continued when we moved to Fredericton in the sixties and reconnected. She was such a delightful person whose quick with and warm personality endeared her to all who knew her. She was blessed with such a kind heart and was so willing to help when needed. I shall never forget her kindness to me when my husband was ill and I needed assistance with my mother. My mother adored her. Whenever life became stressful, a visit with Cecilia was so calming---she definitely had the gift of assurance and one always left her company, refreshed. She was an active member of CWL where she made lasting friendships. I shall remember forever the laughter and joy which she brought to our lives. She was really a member of our family. Rest in peace, dear Celie, and reap your eternal reward. Love and Prayers, Diane Gorman Flynn

Aund C used to come visit us when I was small and would ask lots of questions about school and my music lessons. Often she would paint her fingernails pink at the kitchen table.

My sincere condolences to the family, relatives, and friends. I recall many times Aunt Cecilia visiting us and she and I sharing many meals at her home in Fredericton. Aunt Cecilia helped me out greatly one time by giving me some food items when I couldn't get work. She was very particular about details, but had a heart bigger than the ocean.

The last one is Auntie C and Niece Kelly . So many memories of Aunt Cecelia……. Where to begin hahaha
She made the best mustard pickles, a wonderful co- pilot on all those trips to see the family in Fredericton an Florence Ville to name a few ….
Aunt C was quiet but when she spoke everyone stopped to listen she had a big heart …… I always enjoyed hearing her stories. When she laughed I’d laugh lol we would be in tears hahah , she loved a good joke ……
