To John and family- Bruce and I will never forget Lillian and her servant’s heart. Along with her sweet giggle! Nearly 48 years ago in NY was when we were with you all. We learned the different directions ministry can take you in, but with a strong love for each other and especially for God and His children, and.a servant’s heart, we can remain strong families. Praying for your family as you will miss Lillian but will celebrate her homegoing and her new healthy heavenly body!

Dear Pastor Boyd, Jamie Nate Jenny and families,
I was saddened to read of Lillian's passing this morning. She was the most formative pastor's wife in my journey, from the time I met her over 40 years ago. I so admired her - not just for what she accomplished, but mostly for who she was - humble, loving, strong, such a servant. I loved the way she smiled and giggled when she spoke of her "John". I remember her compassion and encouragement when I was first starting in ministry with a young family - she made everything I was feeling seem normal and surmountable. That led to 20 years of serving in ministry that I will be forever grateful for. Thank you so much for sharing her with me and so many. May the peace of the Great Comforter enfold you all in these days - much love, Kim (Day) Kiehn, Winslow, Maine, formerly of Presque Isle and NBBI.

My prayers and condolences to John and family. I just heard of her passing tonight. With all that is going on in the world we can rejoice that she is in heaven. I believe, we as Christians will all be there soon and that is great comfort and hope. She was a wonderful lady. I always remember her saying how us ladies should be hospitable in our homes and not to worry if we don't have anything special to give them to eat. She said "you always have toast" That has always stayed with me. I'll be remembering you all in my prayers.

We are both so saddened to hear of our dear friend Lillian’s passing! She was at times our Pastors wife…a mentor…an encourager…a babysitter…but always a friend! Her and John are Chris’ spiritual parents and were a vital role in our early life together and even officiated at our wedding! She will always have a special place in our hearts and we have nothing but treasured memories as we remember our times together with her and John! Prayers and love to the whole family! May you sense the Lords presence and peace as she is finally home! …Chris & Sandi
