Mabey, Lewis “Peter”

On November  19, 2022, L. Peter Mabey originally of Campobello Island New Brunswick unexpectedly passed away with his loving family by his side at the age of 66. He leaves behind his high school sweetheart, the love of his life Valerie Mabey (Calder), one daughter Melissa and her husband Lewis Garrison, one son Matthew Mabey and his wife Amanda. His pride and joy are his four grandchildren Nathaniel, Caleb, Andrew and Lucas. Survived by his mother Betty Mabey, his two brothers Mark Mabey (Michele), Paul Mabey (Wendy), his sister Debbie Stuart (Larry), many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and many friends and extended family.

Peter was proud of his accomplishments including 35 years of Campobello volunteer firefighter service, a volunteer for St. John ambulance and 20 plus years as a custodian at Campobello Island Consolidated School (which he called his school and his kids).  

Friends and family are invited to a Celebration of his life that will be held at the North Road Baptist Church (500 N Rd, Welshpool, NB E5E 1E2) on December 10, 2022 at 2pm.
