Really there could be no adequate words to write about how special Peter was. He was a vital part of his community on Campobello on so many levels. Will never forget the day he plowed the driveway, after one of our typical nor’easters or his words of advice & encouragement when I walked my journey with cancer. He loved the school, the kids & the staff there and held a special place in their hearts too. See you on the other side friend.
Our heartfelt condolences & prayers,
Jamie & Paulette

Val, Melissa, Matthew, Betty, and All the Family,
I cannot even begin to imagine your pain and loss. Pete was a funny, kind, caring, amazing guy. I know he was the love of your life, an amazing husband, son, dad and grandfather. He was, simply said, “The Best” ! He was loved by many and will be missed by all. Take comfort that he is with “ The Old Man” and you will all see him again.
Love to you all,
Linda and Barry Matthews.

We both have so many fond memories of Peter and have been thinking of you all. Peter took me under his wing when I moved to Campobello and I so appreciated our after school chats and laughs, with lots of advice and opinion thrown in for good measure! Of course Michael has great hunting camp, lake, and Fire Dept memories as well. He will be dearly missed by his friends and the community, but his family was his heart and soul. Take care, Diane and Michael

Our sincere condolences to the family. I was very sad to hear this news. I taught at CICS for five years and thoroughly enjoyed working with Pete. He and I shared many laughs together and constantly teased and taunted each other - he always brought a smile to my face and always will when I think of him. Rest easy my friend.

I am so sorry to see this, Peter was such a nice man. My sincere condolences to the family.
We met back in the 80's and anytime our paths crossed he always took the time to chat and catch up on our lives.
He was a great father, a hard worker and a very talented man.
Rest in peace my friend and if you see Dad, tell him I miss him. Dad really liked you my friend.

I am saddened to hear of Peter’s passing. My sincere condolences to all his family. I have nothing but fond memories of the time I spent with Peter in the halls and shop of CICS. Of all the projects I helped students complete in the shop, Peter's retirement gift was the one that had all students truly engaged. A true testament to the impact that he had on the students. A great man!

My condolences to all the family, Peter shall be missed. We shared many conversations early in the morning before students started arriving, he was always there before anyone arrived making sure the school was ready each day for the onslaught of students. I knew if I needed anything extra done all I had to do was ask and Peter would do it without a word of complaint.
