There is so much to say and so many memories to share about Marjorie... I just can't think of where to start. Having Marjorie as a Sunday School teacher, church elder, community leader, neighbor, and best friend to my mother, greatly impacted and enriched mine and my family's lives. She was a lady whom I looked up to and admired and she was, at times, a force to be reckoned with (in a good way of course). She led by example and touched so many lives. I dubbed her "the Moores Mills Angel" years ago, because she was so committed to helping everyone who needed help in our community. She remained steadfast and true for all the years I've known her. She held no grudges and never judged anybody. I will miss that sort of laugh in her voice when she spoke, and her constant smile. Thank you, Marjorie, for your patience, understanding, and caring nature. And thank you for opening your home and heart to us all. My love and prayers go out to you all. Each one of you hold a special place in my heart. I feel so blessed to have been "the Caldwell's" neighbor through the years!

Kind condolences to your family. Our community of friends and neighbors has been truly blessed to have Marjorie in our lives.
She encouraged us to be our best and to help others. When I was a teenager she taught me the song Try A Little Kindness.
Ever since then I have cared about songs with a good message.
So thankful for Marjorie's kindness. I love your whole family. God bless you all.

Aunt Marjorie, what can one say, she was an amazing lady, all of the family reunions and get togethers at Christmas will always be memories I hold close, running through the house on the corner which at the time I thought was huge, laughing at her 10 minute naps which seemed to energize her. Riding in the back of the station wagon. there are so many memories with Marjorie and Phil and the whole of the Moores Mills Caldwell's. xo

Marjorie guided me (Tim) for more than 10 years as we and our small ecumenical group worked to bring understanding of justice issues to our communities. She was beyond kind, patient, loving and any other positive adjective you could think of but mostly, for me, she was and always will be an inspiration. I am sure she is to others who were lucky enough to have known her. My Father and Mother always thought highly of Marjorie and Phil and spoke of them with great affection. They were good judges of character. Pauline and I will be holding all the Caldwell family in our hearts.

I wish I could remember all the funny stories about Marjorie's faux pas. Like trying on hats at the Hat Box. She and her friend were laughing about a particularly ugly one when the woman beside them said, "That's MY hat." And as a senior visiting New Zealand losing her passport. I think she lost one of her kids a few times, too, and took awhile to realize it. She was one of kind.

Marjorie was of the same era as my Mom. Graduating from Normal School before TC even existed & then going to university when they were in their middle age. Inspiring is a word that comes to mind. I would often see Marjorie when my dog Madi & I visited CCH. She would be working in the gift shop, still sharp as a tack.
To the whole family, treasure the memories and God Speed Marjorie. A long life well lived.
