Lahey, Lauris Howard
After a brief illness Lauris Lahey passed peacefully at Saint John Regional Hospital on Wednesday May 5th, 2022; Husband of Janna Lahey (Stanley). Born in Lubec Maine he is the son of the late Burton Lahey and Charmayne Greene.Surviving are his adored children Lauris Lahey (Sarah) of Norton NB and Maggie Lahey (Sheldon) of Campbellton NB, his cherished grandchildren Quinn and Davis. Also surviving are his siblings Cindy Craig (David) of Bonny River NB, Roderick Lahey of NS, Richard Lahey of Saint John NB, Lorne Lahey (Crystal) of Campobello NB, Robbie John (Diane) of Campobello NB and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Lauris dedicated his life to educating and uplifting our youth as a school teacher and coach. He cherished his family deeply and was passionate about music, reading and nature. He will be greatly missed by all. The family wishes to thank the Palliative Care unit staff at Saint John Regional Hospital for their care and compassion. There will be no visitation; however friends are welcomed to attend a celebration of his life to be held on Wednesday May 11, 2022 at 2pm in the Humphreys Funeral Home Chapel (20 Marks St, St. Stephen NB E3L 2B2, 506-466-3110).
