MacCombie Durwin J. - Unexpectedly at his residence on May 20, 2021; Durwin is predeceased by his wife Hazel Ann Stafford MacCombie, his father, his grandmother Hazel MacCombie, uncles Bobby, Faye,and Eddie MacCombie and stepson Samuel Higgins.
Born in St. Stephen,Durwin is survived by his mother Bernice MacCombie, Brother Charles MacCombie, sister Elizabeth MacCombie (Jason) and Marguerite MacCombie, stepson Peter Higgins(Sharlene), special nephew Carl MacCombie (Darlene), special niece Megan MacCombie(Ryan), several aunts,uncles,nieces, nephews and cousins. as well as fur baby Sassy.
The family will receive friends during a time of visitation and celebration at New Zion House of Worship on Union St on Tuesday May 25 th at 4:30 pm. Due to circumstances surrounding the pandemic prescreening COVID 19 protocols will be in place. Masks are required. If you are feeling anxious or vulnerable or unwell you are encouraged not to attend.
A private family interment will take place in Honeydale at a later time.
