Obituary of Randy Milligan
MILLIGAN RANDY K. – Unexpectedly at his residence in Milltown NB, on Monday, May 17th, 2021; Randolph Kenneth Milligan. Born in Saint John, NB; he is the son of the late Kenneth Sr. & Pauline (Pomeroy) Milligan.
Randy had worked for St. Croix Stevedoring in Bayside New Brunswick for over 20 years until his health declined.
He loved a great baseball game and would stay up late to watch his favorite team “ Toronto Blue Jays” He played in the mens softball league for many years as a catcher on different teams and was a proud "Little Ridger".
Some of Randy’s favorite things to do were hunting and fishing, as well as spending many hours in his summer garden.
All that engaged in a conversation with Randy knew from the beginning that it would not end without a great laugh.
Randy is survived by his 3 daughters Mandi Milligan (Matthew), Jodi Milligan of St. Stephen, NB, Randi Dawn Cogswell (Nick) of Hampton, NB, 2 sisters Wanda Armstrong (Richard) and Melonie Milligan (Randy) of St. Stephen, NB, 2 step sisters Pam Thibault (Victor) of Little Ridge, NB, Angie Robar of Saint John, NB and sister – in – law Darcy Scott of Little Ridge, NB, 3 grandchildren Jarret, Rachel and Evelyn, several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Randy was also predeceased by his brother Kenny Milligan and his sister Vicky Ste.Marie.
The family will receive friends during a time of visitation on Thursday, May 27th, 2021 at Humphreys Funeral Home, 20 Marks Street, St. Stephen, NB E3L 2B2 (506 – 466 – 3110) from 12:00 noon until 2:00 pm.
Due to circumstances surrounding the pandemic COVID 19 pre - screening protocols will be in place. Masks will be required. For those feeling anxious, vulnerable or feeling unwell you are encouraged not to attend.
A private family graveside service will take place at Pomeroy Ridge Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers the family would greatly appreciate donations in Randy’s memory to go to the Living Memorial Program or Charity of ones choice. On line condolences to the family can be made at www.humphreysfh.com
