Obituary of Georgie Cecille Matthews
The death of Georgie Cecille Matthews occurred at the Campobello Lodge Nursing Home on January 12, 2003. Born in Nova Scotia she was the daughter of the late Maurice and Carrie (Lank) Cline. Predeceased by her parents, husband Burton Matthews. She is survived by two daughters, Lesley (Allan) Savage and Pauline (Kevin) McCluskey; two sons, James (Pauline) Matthews and Merrill Matthews; two brothers, Merwin and Winston (Skipper) Cline; six grandchildren, Bill Matthews and Lindsay Sanders, Gina Denbow and Ronnie Savage, Amanda and Adam McCluskey; three great grandchildren, Cody and Katelyn Denbow, Audri Sander; several nieces and nephews. Resting at St. Anne's Anglican Church, Welshpool, NB with visiting on Monday from 7 to 9pm. A private family service will be held on Tuesday with Rev. Charles Smart officiating. Interment will take place in the Wilson's Beach Cemetery in the spring. For those who wish, donations to the New Brunswick Heart and Stroke Foundation, Canadian Diabetes Association or to the Wilson's Beach Cemetery Fund would be appreciated.
