Obituary of Irene Cook

The death of Irene Cook 94, occurred at the Campobello Lodge nursing home on December 21 2002 after a long illness. Born in Calais Maine on March 14, 1908, she was the daughter of the late William and Mary (Hills) Mitchell. Predeceased by her husband Dias in November 1993, her mother, father, brothers and sisters, Irene was the youngest child. Survived by her son, Noel and his wife Cathy of Campobello; two grandsons, Jason Cook of Myrtle Beach SC and Chris Cook of Lubec ME; a special friend, Arlene Greenlaw of Lubec and a few special people at the Campobello Lodge. A private family interment service will be conducted at a later date in Calais ME. MacDonald Select Community Funeral Home, 20 Marks Street, St. Stephen in care of arrangements.
