Obituary of Dorothy Evelyn Fairhead

FAIRHEAD DOROTHY E.. at her residence on Thursday, October 13th, 2011, Dorothy Evelyn Fairhead of Lincourt Manor, St Stephen, NB. Born in Milltown, Nb she is the daughter of the late Raymond and Sarah (Anderson) Hairhead. Before retiring Dorothy worked for many years at the Cotton Mill in Milltown. She was a longtime member of the Milltown United Church serving on the UCW. Dorothy loved to cook for many a church supper. Her forte was pastry and loved to make pumpkin pies. Dorothy is survived by her niece Sally Slemin (Bruce) of Saint John, NB, grandnieces Rebekah Slemin and Emily Slemin, and a few cousins. Dorothy was predeceased by her sisters Marguerite and Isabelle and one brother Robert . There will be no visitation however friends are welcomed to attend a funeral service to celebrate her life on Monday October 17th, 2011 at 11:00 am in the chapel of Humphreys Funeral Home, 20 Marks Street, St Stephen, NB (506 … 466 … 3110). Rev. Dr. Andrew O’Neill officiating. The interment will follow in St Stephen Rural Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations to the charity of the donors choice would be appreciated by the family.
