Obituary of Edith Thurber

The death of Edith Thurber of Welshpool New Brunswick, occurred at the Charlotte County Hospital on May 15, 2004. Born in Campobello, New Brunswick on March 7, 1917, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Ethel (Green) Newman. Predeceased by her husband, Basil Thurber; two brothers; two sisters. Survived by two daughters, Vivian (Neil) Mc Kay of Fredericton New Brunswick, Janice (Raymond) Lank of Welshpool New Brunswick; seven grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, four great-great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Resting at the North Road Baptist Church, Welshpool New Brunswick with visiting on Monday from 7 to 9. The funeral will be held 11am on Tuesday from the church, with Pastor John Tremblett and Rev. Wendell Calder officiating. Interment will take place in the North Road Cemetery.
