Obituary of Kathy L. Henderson
HENDERSON KATHY - Unexpectedly at the Eastern Maine Medical Centre in Bangor, Maine, on Friday, June 10th, 2011; Katherine “Kathy” Lillian (Matthews) Henderson, wife of Hazen Henderson of Wilson’s Beach, NB. Born in Lubec, Maine, USA she is the daughter of the late Orin and Mae (Gilbert) Matthews. Kathy worked for many years with the Campobello Lodge. In past years she took an active interest in the work of Wilson’s Bach United Baptist Church. Those who knew Kathy knew she had a love of gardening. Surviving in addition to her husband Hazen are her 2 sons Dennis (Holly) and Dexter (Zona) all of Wilson’s Beach, NB, one brother Tommy Matthews (Rae) of Campobello, 3 sisters Paula Kilburn (Keith) of Fredericton, NB, Patsy Beaulieu (Leonard) of Saint John, NB, and Mary Gowan (Jay) of Auburn, Maine, 6 grandchildren, Logan, Matty, Noah, Natasha, Stephanie and Dustin, 4 great grandchildren, Cali, Wyatt, Graydon and Kadyence, several nieces , nephews and cousins. There will be no visitation however friends are welcome to attend a memorial service in celebration of her life on Tuesday, June 14th, 2011 at 2:00 pm at Wilson’s Beach United Baptist Church, Campobello, NB. Rev. Robert Weaver officiating. A reception will immediately follow in the church hall. Donations to the Charlotte County Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
