Obituary of Martha Agnes Russell
RUSSELL, MARTHA A. … At the Campobello Lodge on Tuesday, June 7th, 2011, Martha Agnes (Greenier) Russell, wife of the late Maurice Russell of Oak Hill , NB. Born in Drummond Victoria County, NB she is the daughter of the late James & Prudence (O’Hagan) Greenier. Martha worked with the Tuna Plant in Bayside and the ware knitters for several years while raising her family. She is survived by her daughters Bonnie Ross (Gary Middlemiss) of Mohannes, Brenda Porter (Wellock) of Campobello,sons Gary Knowles and Allen Knowles both of Oak Hill, 3 grandchildren, Sherri, Mark, Ashely, 2 great grandchildren, Brandon and Makayla, 3 sisters, Dorothy Finnie, Jane Greenier both of Old Ridge and Betty Curran of Upper Mills, several nieces nephews and cousins. By Martha’s request there will be no visitation. However friends are welcomed to attend a graveside service at the Upper Mills United Cemetery in Mohannes on Friday, June 10th, at 11:00 am. A reception will immediately follow in the church hall. Donations to the Upper Mills Cemetery Fund, Upper Mills United Church or charity of the donors choice would be appreciated by the family.
