Obituary of Barbara Alma Barter

BARTER, BARBARA A - At the St Stephen Seniors Complex on Sunday February 6th, 2011; Barbara Alma (Omar) Barter, wife of the late Gordon V, Barter of Old Ridge, NB. Born in Oak Hill, NB she is the daughter of the late Howard Franklin and Alice Florence Cook. She was a longtime member of the United Church in Little Ridge serving on the UCW. She is survived by several nieces and nephews. Resting at Humphreys Funeral Home, 20 Marks Street St. Stephen (506 - 466 - 3110) from where the service will be held in the chapel on Wednesday, February 9th, 2011 at 3:00 pm. Rev. Pauline Bell will officiate. The interment will take place in the spring in St Stephen Rural Cemetery. A reception will immediately follow in the Humphreys Community Room and Reception Centre. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 pm.
