Obituary of Hans J. Forster
FORSTER, HANS J. - at the Charlotte County Hospital on Sunday, October 10th, 2010; Hans Joachim Forstel, husband of Rosemary “Yvonne” (Heaton) Forster of St Stephen, NB. Born in Kerpen, Germany he is the son of the late Martin & Elizabeth (Erdelmann) Forster. Upon coming to Canada Hans resided in Bai Comeau Quebec where he worked for many years with the Baie Comeau Aluminum Smelter Industry. Attracted to the Maritimes and Charlotte County he retired and moved to here to enjoy the outdoors and all it had to offer. Surviving in addition to his wife Yvonne are his 2 sons Carl (Rhonda) of Fredericton, NB and Mark (Mary) of Houston, BC 5 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, 2 sisters, Maryann and Rosita both of Germany and a half brother Martin in Sweden. He was predeceased by his sister Christel. By Hans request there will be no visitation. However friends are welcomed to attend a memorial in celebration of his life to be held in the chapel of Humphreys Funeral Home, 20 Marks Street, St Stephen, NB (506 … 466 … 3110) on Thursday, October 21st, 2010 at 2:00 pm. A reception will immediately follow in the funeral home reception centre. In lieu of flowers donations to the NB Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
