Obituary of Madeline Jeanette Campbell
CAMPBELL, MADELINE J. – At the Charlotte County Hospital on Thursday, July 8th, 2010; Madeline Jeanette (McPhee) Campbell of St. Stephen, NB, wife of the late Douglas Campbell. Born in Woodland, Maine she is the daughter of the late Daniel J. and Nora D. (Peterson) McPhee. For many years Madeline worked as a nurse with the Calais Hospital. She was well known to her friends and family as a lover of the game of golf. She is survived by her son Glenn Douglas of St. Stephen, NB, brother Lawrence McPhee(Lillian) of North Hampton, Massachusetts. Also survived by sister in law Joan (Campbell) Glenn of Prescott, Ontario; brother in law Richard Campbell (Helen) of Sussex, NB and several cousins, nieces and nephews. Although there will be no visitation friends are welcome to attend a graveside memorial service at St. Stephen Rural Cemetery on Thursday July 15th, 2010 at 2:00 pm with Rev. Pauline Bell officiating. A reception will follow at the St. Croix Golf and Country Club, Calais, Maine from 3:30 - 5:30 pm Canadian. All welcome. In lieu of flowers donations to the Palliative Care Unit of the Charlotte County Hospital or to Hospice of Charlotte would be appreciated by the family.
