Obituary of Kenneth Houston
The death of Rev. Kenneth Houston of St. Stephen, occurred at the Charlotte County Hospital on Tuesday, March 16, 2004. Born in Hamilton, Ontario, he was the son of the late Thomas and Alice (Gyford) Houston. Predeceased by grandson Heiden Neurenberg, two brothers and two sisters. He is survived by his wife, Sheila Casey-Houston; four daughters, Judy (Cam Neurenberg) of Lac du Bonnet, Man., Jill (Darrell Overwater) of Selkirk, Man., Joy (Lionel Charron) of Domain, Man. and Victoria Houston (Curtis Wegleitner) of Edmonton, Alb.; two sons, Steven Houston (Claudette) of Winnipeg, Man. and Jason Murphy of Toronto, Ont.; one sister, Dorothy (Hugh Guild) of Hamilton, Ont.; nine grandchildren; one great-grandson; several nieces and nephews. The family will be receiving friends at MacDonald Select Community Funeral Home, 20 Marks Street, St. Stephen, on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. The funeral will be held 2 pm on Saturday from the Milltown United Church, with Rev. Boyce Martin officiating. For those who wish, donations to a charity of the donors choice would be appreciated. Members of Sussex Lodge #7, F. & AM. will gather at the funeral home Friday evening at 7:30 to hold a masonic tribute.
