Obituary of Jean Elizabeth Reid
REID, JEAN ELIZABETH - At her residence, on Friday, April 9th, 2010; peacefully in the presence of her family, Jean Elizabeth “Betty “ (Eisner) Reid, wife of Brian Reid of Scotch Ridge, NB. Born in Gagetown, NB she is the daughter of the late Alton and Jean Eisner. Surviving in addition to her husband Brian are her children "Rocky" Daniel Francis Graziano of Minnesota, Diane Campbell of Saint John, NB , stepdaughter Krista Kerfont, brothers Don (Jean) of Hampton, NB, John (Susan) and sister, Brenda Whitaker (Dave), all of Quispamsis, NB, 4 grandchildren, Jessica - Jean Elizabeth Campbell, Rebecca Lynn Campbell, Dominique Daniel Francis and Alexis Gabrielle Graziano,aunts,uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Jean attended Modern Business College in Saint John. She worked for a number of years with Shamrock Construction and the former Calp’s Dept Store. While residing in St. Stephen with her husband Brian for many years she worked at Mrs. Pomeroy’s Kindergarden in a teaching position. Jean also loved her work at the Biological Station working in the Chemistry Lab. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care & direction of Humphreys Funeral Home, 20 Marks Street St. Stephen, NB www.humphreysfh.com Betty will be transferred to Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row Saint John, NB (506 … 634 … 7424) from where the visitation will be held on Monday from 2 … 4 and 7 … 9 pm. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 13th, 2010 at 2:00 pm at St. Luke’s Anglican Church Mains Street, Saint John, NB. A reception will immediately follow in the church Hall followed by the interment in Fernhill Cemetery.
