Obituary of Ann Barrett Rigby

RIGBY ANN B. - At the Charlotte County Hospital on Wednesday February 3rd, 2010; Ann Barrett (Gunter) Rigby, wife of the late Dr. John Edward Rigby of St. Andrews, NB. Born in Albany Georgia, USA she is the daughter of the late Dr. George Gunter and Rubina Barrett. Ann was a faithful and longtime member of All Saints Anglican Church, St. Andrews and served on their altar guild for many years. After the death of her husband John, she pursued her passion in history and was employed with the NB Archives in Fredericton. She is survived by her 2 daughters Pamela Rigby of St. Andrews, Janet Rigby (Darren McInnis) of Halifax, NS, and son Craig (Charlene) of Indian River, Ont, 3 grandchildren Christopher, Joanna and Julian. A funeral service to celebrate Ann’s life will be held on Monday, February, 8th, 2010 at 11:00 am at All Saints Anglican Church 77 King Street St. Andrews, NB. A reception will immediately follow in the church hall. The interment will take place at a later date in the spring in St. Andrews Rural Cemetery.
