Obituary of Lorraine M. Varga
VARGA, LORRAINE M. … At the Charlotte County Hospital on Thursday, January 28th, 2010; Lorraine Mildred (Einarson) Varga of Chipman Street , St. Stephen, NB, wife of the late Joseph John Varga. Born in Wadena, Saskatchewan, she is the daughter of the late Einar & Clara Einarson. Lorraine was a faithful witness for 60 plus years as a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses. She was known for her quiet caring ways and loved having friends and family over to share a meal.She was a wonderful mother and proud grandmother. Lorraine enjoyed the love of travel to Vancouver, BC to visit with family ,as well as several trips to Australia and numerous trips across Canada. She will be greatly missed by countless friends and famly. She is survived by her daughter Donna Shepherd and her fiancé Pat Olsen of Tower Hill, NB, 2 brothers Charles (Joyce) and Kenneth (Jeannette) both of Australia, granddaughter Megan Shepherd of Vancouver, BC. She was predeceased by a son Douglas, brother Oscar and sister Adeline Bobier. By Lorraine’s request there will be no visitation at the funeral home however friends are welcomed to attend a memorial service to be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, Old Ridge, NB on Wednesday, February 3rd, 2010 at 2:00 pm. A reception will immediately follow at the Chipman Street Apartment Complex Community Room, St. Stephen, NB. In lieu of flowers donations to the NB Heart & Stroke Foundation or Charlotte County Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
