Obituary of Robert John McDonnell

McDonnell, Bob - Unexpectedly at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Friday, April 3rd, 2009; Robert John “Bob” McDonnell, husband of Sharon (Urquhart) McDonnell of St. Stephen, NB. Born in Stratford, Ontario, he is the son of the late Jack & Eva (Hunter) McDonnell. Bob was a steel maker for 32 years employed with Stelco of Canada located in Hamilton, Ont. He retired in 1988 and relocated to St. Stephen with his wife Sharon. Surviving in addition to his wife Sharon are his children; 2 daughters Yvonne McDonnell of Hamilton, Ont; Theresa Sartor of Burlington, Ont; 4 sons Michael, John, Robert and Frank, all of Edmonton, Alberta, grandchildren and great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. Bob was predeceased by his sister Patricia. By Bob’s request there will be no visitation or service. Cremation has take place. In lieu of flowers donations to the charity of the donors choice would be appreciated by the family.
