Obituary of Maye Stewart Upham

Maye Upham (Dickson), wife of the late Curtis Upham, and the late Lee Dickson, of Bayside, passed away at Old Ridge, NB, on the evening of December 2 , at the age of 93. Born in Center Napan, on May 26, 1915, she was the daughter of the late Osborne and Catherine (Dickson) Dickson. She was a homemaker and chose a life of faith. Maye is survived by, her two sons, Lee Dickson (Yvonne), of Grande Prairie, AB, and Floyd Dickson (Carolyn), of White Rock, BC. ,five grandchildren, Trina, Alanna, and Cameron (Melanie), of Grande Prairie, AB, and Matthew (Becci Bessette) of Hope, BC, as well as Timothy (Danika), of Langley, BC. , six great-grandchildren, Gavin and Will of Grande Prairie, AB, Hannah and Emelia of Hope, BC, and Maddox and Hunter of Langley, BC. Maye also leaves one sibling, her youngest brother Harold (Gladys) Dickson of Port Alberni, BC, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Maye was predeceased by her first husband Lee Dickson, and her second husband Curtis Upham, as well as three sisters, Susan Wilson, Dorothy Dickson, and Verne Dickson and two brothers, Earl and Burton Dickson. Resting at Humphrey’s Funeral Home 20 Marks Street, St. Stephen, NB. from where the funeral service will be held in the chapel on Saturday, December 6th, 2008 at 11:00 am. The interment will take place in the spring at St. Andrews Rural Cemetery. A Reception to follow the service for friends and family at the Humphreys Community Room and Reception Centre. All are welcome to join us. The family would like to thank all of Mum’s special friends and Melody and Roy Moffard, and their wonderful staff at St. Stephen Seniors Complex, for the love and care they have shown Mum over the years.
