Obituary of Derrick Clive Wright

Wright, Derrick Clive - surrounded by the love of his family. Derrick Clive Wright passed away at the Charlotte County Hospital, in St. Stephen, NB on Wednesday, November 5th, 2008, at the age of 73. Born in Shawinagan, Quebec, he was the son of the late Stephen William and Mary Isabel Wright. And husband of Sheila Wright. Derrick is survived by his wife Sheila; son Eoin S. Wright of Halifax, NS; daughter Cassandra L. Smith (David) of St. Stephen, NB, stepdaughters Rhoda Roy of Victoria BC and Shelley McKeeman (Farren) and Michelle Roy, of St. Stephen, NB, grandchildren, Jessica, Kayla, Tara and Ryan Smith and step grandchildren, Tracy and Ashley McKeeman, Joey Babcock and Daniel and Jeremy Wilson. Derrick enjoyed an active career with Maritime Tel and Tel (Aliant) for many years until his retirement. He was happiest when he was keeping busy with home projects and had a love for travel as well as music and dancing. He found happiness in his many new friends and acquaintances here in St. Stephen, NB. A private memorial service will be held for immediate family and friends.
