Obituary of Ronald Frank Wells

WELLS, RONALD F. … Unexpectedly at his home in St. Andrews, NB,Ronald Frank Wells, husband of Lesley Wells. Born in Calgary, the son of the late Albert Wells. Ron studied in Sydney, Australia where he graduated from the University of New South Wales. Upon graduation and receiving his degree in Bachelor of Business & Hospitality he went on to work around the world as an hotelier. His travels took him to many interesting and exciting places, finally bringing him to St. Andrews. Here he worked as a hospitality Instructor with NBCC St. Andrews, for approximately 13 years, where he inspired and greatly enjoyed teaching his many students. For the last few years, during his summer break, Ron enjoyed traveling extensively for CESO (Canadian Executive Services Overseas) taking him to such places as the Philippines, Russia, Ukraine and Panama. Surviving, in addition to his wife Lesley, are his children Jamie, Emma and Timmy of St. Andrews, his many aunts, uncles and cousins of Saskatchewan and Alberta, as well as, his father-in-law of England and stepmother and stepsister of British Colombia By Ron’s request there will be no visitation at the funeral home, however friends are welcome to attend a celebration of his life in a Service of Remembrance to be held on Friday, August, 29th, 2008 at 2:00 pm at Wesley United Church, St. Andrews, NB, Rev. Bob Johnson will officiate. Donations to Hospice of Charlotte, the Canadian Diabetes Association or the Canadian Blood Bank would be appreciated by the family.
