Handy, Donald Earl The death of Donald Earl Handy of St. Stephen, occurred at the Charlotte County Hospital on January 9, 2007. Born on December 17, 1924 in St. Stephen, New Brunswick, he was the son of the late Joseph and Emily Handy. Predeceased by his wife Elizabeth (McKenna) Handy; Survived by his daughters, Margaret (Gary) McLaughlin, Alice Rideout, Marie (Gary McNabb) MacLean, Patricia (Fred) Higgins, Laura (Albert) Smith; brother, Kenneth (Kay) Handy; twelve grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Resting at MacDonald Select Community Funeral Home, 20 Marks Street, St. Stephen, with visiting on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. The funeral will be held 2 pm on Monday from MacDonald Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Kay Clowater officiating. Interment will take place at a later date in the St. Andrews Rural Cemetery.
