Obituary of Hilda Sarah Lindsay

The death of Hilda Sarah Lindsay of St. Stephen, occurred at the Lincourt Manor Nursing Home, St. Stephen, on April 13, 2006. Born in Old Ridge, New Brunswick, she was the daughter of the late George Lindsay Turner and Clara Mae Libbey. Predeceased by her husband, John Mitchell Lindsay; daughter, Lois Carter; brother, George Turner; sisters, Helen Bruns and Muriel Scott. Survived by her daughter, Helen Draper of Ottawa, Ont.; son, Earle (Peggy) Lindsay of Aylesford, Nova Scotia; sister, Ethel Gordon of Maine; 12 grandchildren, 17great-grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Resting at MacDonald Select Community Funeral Home, 20 Marks Street, St. Stephen, with visiting on Monday from 1 pm until service time. The funeral will be held 2 pm on Monday from MacDonald Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Cheryl MacFadyen officiating. Interment will take place in the St. Stephen Rural Cemetery.
