Obituary of Merton Neil Newman

The death of Merton Neil Newman of 11 Bill's Lane Wilson's Beach, New Brunswick, occurred at his residence on August 22, 2005. Born in Campobello, New Brunswick, he was the son of the late Merton and Viola (Langmaid) Newman. He is survived by his wife, Hazel (Malloch) Newman; daughters, Lori (Joel) Newman of Campobello, Valerie (Scott) Mitchell of Campobello and Melissa (Peter) Gentes of Oromocto; sisters, Fern Mitchell of Eastport, Eleen Newman of Fredericton Junction, Constance Fleet of Wilson's Beach and Bellman Pendleton of Deer Island; grandchildren, Jolene and Jeremy Newman, Matthew, Jonathon (Holly)and Heather Mitchell, Morgan and Ethan Gentes; several nieces and nephews. The graveside service will be held 11 am on Friday at the Head Harbour Cemetery, Campobello, with Rev. Donn Williams officiating.
