Obituary of Beverly M. Cline
The death of Beverly M. Cline occurred on March 6, 2005 in Saint John while visiting with his niece Evelyn Hachey and her husband James. Born on Grand Manan on May 5, 1936, he was the son of the late Charles Cline and Jennie (Raymond) Cline. For the past three years, Beverly had made his home with his niece Vonnie Lamont and her husband Wally in Garnett Settlement. Prior to this time, Beverly resided in Dalhousie with his brother Prince Cline and wife Helen until relocating to Campobello Island in 1970. Beverly enjoyed making quilt tops, scrapbooking, and loved country music videos. His photo albums showed the love he had for all his family and friends. Most of all, Beverly looked forward to spending the summer months at his home on Campobello Island with his niece Alison Suchostawski and enjoyed all the activities around the North Road break-water. He is survived by two sisters, Mildred Doone, Whitby, Ontario and Lila Babineau of Lincoln, New Brunswick. He was predeceased by sisters, Lou Thurber, Reida Bielli, Vonnie Henderson and Minnie Slack, also brothers, Charles, James, Erlon, Douglas, Murray, Prince Vernon and Leroy Cline, Gerald, Douglas and Harley Raymond. Following cremation the funeral and committal service will take place at St. Anne's Anglican Church, Welshpool at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Anne's Anglican Church Cemetery Fund. MacDonald Select Community Funeral Home, 20 Marks Street, St. Stephen in care of arrangements.
