Obituary of Jean Marie Palmer
The death of Jean Marie Palmer of St. Andrews, New Brunswick, occurred at the Charlotte County Hospital on February 8, 2005. Born in Mayfield, New Brunswick, she was the daughter of the late Dual and Elizabeth (Grass) Goodine. Predeceased by her husband, Grant Palmer, sisters, Sylvia, Gertrude and Vivian. She is survived by one daughter, Paulette (Henry) McCurdy of Manitoba; four sons, Dennis ( Rose) Palmer of Fredericton, NB, Wade (Nancy) Palmer of Ajax, Ontario, Terry Palmer (Krisan) of Saint John, NB, and Jan (Laurie) Palmer of Quispamsis, NB; three sisters, Margaret Cataldo, of Massachusetts, Roberta Bendonis of Cape Cod, Massachusetts and Pauline Madsen of North Carolina; two brothers, Paul Goodine (Evelyn) of Calais, Maine and Allan Goodine of Louisiana; eight grandchildren, Jason, Jill, Darcy, Chris, Allison, Jordan, Tracy and Adam; several nieces and nephews. Resting at MacDonald Select Community Funeral Home, 20 Marks Street, St. Stephen, with visiting on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. The funeral will be held 2 on Friday from MacDonald Funeral Home Chapel, with Canon John Matheson officiating. Honourary Bearers are Everett Teakles, Jim Hansen, Henry McCurdy and Michael MacKinnon. Interment will take place in the Moores Mills Cemetery in the spring.
