To Shirleys family, I always loved Shirley-let me share a memory. One time when we lived in Pa. we went to Aunt Marys to visit. I remember Shirley would tell my sister(Jackie) & I she was going to chase us with her popped out eye!! I think we stayed overnight & she told us If we woke up a Moose would have His head thru r bedroom window, but don"t be afraid. She was a corker & I was not sure what to make of her. Good kids memory of you wife & Mom,Grandma. (I am Francis's oldest child) Diane

We are so sorry very to hear of dear Shirley's passing. Shirley was such a steadfast and dear friend to my Grammy Della. She spent many hours with Grammy at CCH, sitting bedside and even bringing a delicious chocolate cake with boiled frosting for my youngest daughter's birthday as we were spending it in the hospital with Grammy. Such a thoughtful and very kind woman - may she rest in peace. Our deepest condolences. Marlene Chase (Nicole & Hillary)

Mike, I was sorry to see that Shirley passed away. My condolences to you and your family. I'm not sure you remember my married name but I am Rita and Amby Shannon's daughter. I enjoyed hearing you and Shirley play your music many years ago. Lots of memories...
