Bryan and Barb and all of the Spires family—So, so sorry to hear about Belinda’s passing. I already miss the trips with the kids to see you all, but I am greatly saddened that you have to go through all of this at an already challenging time. I will always remember Belinda’s kindness, her love of cats (I still have a couple of the blankets she made), and her genuine interest in what the kids were doing. Really a special lady. I lost my mother to cancer in 2018 and it was not an experience I would wish on anyone—the patient or the family. You are in my prayers. I first met Belinda in Grade 9 in St. Andrews... she had been on a trip to England the previous summer, so she was quite envied for that! Got re-acquainted many years later at the dentist office. Bob & I were so shocked and sorry to hear of Belinda’s passing! I think of all those square dances in St Stephen, St Andrews Saint John and the national conventions. I had so much fun with the round dance classes at the elementary school dancing with your mom Brian! Truly wonderful memories! Barbie & Bridgette you grew up with Blair & Stacie and we have many great memories of these times as well. I am so glad that Bridgette is a Facebook friend as we had no idea that Belinda was ill. Stacie still keeps in touch with with Barbie. We hope Belinda did not struggle long with this horrible disease! Do keep in touch with us. We live in Portuguese Cove just outside of Halifax. Our ocean view is gorgeous and thus, with this and a sizeable house, living in the pandemic is not at all a burden! Take care all of you and stay safe! We can only hope there is an end to this terrible tragedy in the near future??
