Obituary of Edna Archambault

ARCHAMBAULT EDNA G. - At the Charlotte County Hospital on Sunday, November 8th, 2020; Edna Grace (Swail) Archambault, wife of the late Andre Archambault. Born in Montreal, Quebec she is the daughter of the late William & Bridget Mary (Neville) Swail.

During Edna’s early years she worked as a service representative for Bell Telephone. She thoroughly enjoyed however taking care of and being at home with her family.

Edna loved to chat, go shoppining and meet with family and friends, telling any number of stories, crocheting in her younger years and playing cards. She was involved with the Charlotte County Hospital Auxiliary and was very involved in the Oak Hill UCW as Treasurer for many years.

Edna is survived by her 3 sons David(Jane) of Oak Hill, NB, Peter (Patricia) of Kemptville, ON, and John (Marlyn) of Caledonia, ON, 4 grandchildren Adrienne Babayan (Dmitriy), Christopher (Alice), Matthew and Kaitlyn Archambault, one great grandson Jacob.

Edna was the last surviving member of her own immediate family.

Friends are welcomed to attend a celebration of Edna’s life to be held at graveside at Oak Hill Cemetery on Saturday, November 14th, 2020 at 1:00 pm.

For those feeling anxious, vulnerable or unwell due to the current situation with the pandemic you should perhaps not attend. Those present will be asked to respect physical distancing measures and the wearing of masks under the advice of the Dept. of Public Health. Prescreening will be conducted at the entrance of the cemetery.

In lieu of flowers donations to the Oak Hill Cemetery Fund or charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
