Nancy and family. We were saddened and shocked to hear of Dennis's passing. We only heard of it recently. I knew Dennis as I worked with him as an auxiliary RCMP. We also played golf together with Chris while we were vacationing on PEI. We played several courses including Murray River. I considered him a fine man and dear friend. He will certainly sadly missed. John and Laurie McFarlane of St.Stephen.

Dear Nancy, Christopher and Robyn
Bernadette and I were greatly saddened today when we learned Dennis had passed. I don't know if you remember but I served with Dennis on the Campbellton County Detachment from approximately 1971 to 1973. I believe Christopher was your only child at the time. I have such fond memories of Dennis especially experiencing his extreme excitement when our first son, Scott, was born in March 1972. Dennis was a real gentle and caring man and he carried these qualities into his responsibilities as a member of the RCMP and no doubt as a loving husband and father. From the time I first met Dennis until I was transferred to Toronto in May 1973, Nancy there was no doubt in my mind you were the complete focus and love of his life.
Please accept our deepest sympathy.

Dear Paul, Sherry and the Ferguson Family,
I was so saddened by the passing of Dennis. Paul, Dennis was older than us so I didn't know him very well but George and Dot were always so proud of him and spoke of him regularly; as did you.
I think listening to your Mom and Dad talk about Dennis was one of the reasons why I joined the force. He was so respected and was a good policeman, always helping whomever he could.
Myself, Shirley and the rest of the Ross family extend our sincere condolences for your loss.

My sincere condolences to Dennis's wife Nancy and their family. I joined the RCMP with Dennis and Leonard and Barry at the Charlottetown Detachment on July 25th 1968 and we became part of Troop 11 68/69. I have very fond memories of Dennis who was known as our den mother, always making sure every one was on time for all our classes and that our barrack room was kept neat and tidy and ready for inspection,
Needless to say I am in both shocked and saddened with the news of Dennis's passing and want you to know that you are in my thoughts and prayers at this very difficult time.
Sadly, I am now the only one remaining from the special day in Charlottetown on July 25th 1968.

Sincere condolences to the Ferguson family. Dennis and myself were in the same Troop, 11 Troop/68/69, in Depot Division in Regina Saskatchewan. Dennis was always upbeat and fun to be around. He transferred to New Brunswick and I went to Newfoundland and it appears we both spent our careers in the first Province we transferred to from training. R.I.P. Dennis and thank-you for your service.
