Obituary of Vivian Mitchell
Mitchell, Vivian Ruth … The death of Vivian Ruth Mitchell of Wilson’s Beach, Campobello, wife of the late Arnold “Johnny” Mitchell, passed away on Tuesday, March 6, 2012 at the Charlotte County Hospital. Born at Malagash, NS on February 19, 1914 she was a daughter of the late Samuel P. and Anna Belle (Studivan) Jamieson. She devoted her life to her family and her Lord, teaching Sunday School for many years at her church in Wilson’s Beach. Survived by her son, Samuel (Shirley) of Saint John, NB; two grandchildren, Michael (Kyna Squarey) of Paradise, NL and Katrina Sylvester of California; two great-grandchildren, Ava Sylvester and Abigail Mitchell; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews. Besides her parents and husband, she was predeceased by an infant daughter, Greta Elizabeth; two sisters, Bernice Demings and Alice Fletcher; and a brother, Lloyd Jamieson. Arrangements are under the care of Humphreys Funeral Home, 20 Marks St., St. Stephen, NB (506) 466-3110. Visitation will be held at the United Pentecostal Church, Wilson’s Beach on Friday, March 9, 2012 from 7-9 pm with funeral service on Saturday, March 10, 2012 at 3:00 pm. Interment will follow in the Old Wilson’s Beach Cemetery. Remembrances made to the Wilson’s Beach Cemetery Fund or any charity of choice would be appreciated by the family. www.humphreysfh.com
