Obituary of Wilberta Bernice Upham
UPHAM WILBERTA B. - at the Charlotte County Hospital on Wednesday,October,19th, 2011; Wilberta Bernice (Foshay) Upham, wife of the late Edward Upham. Born in Foshay Beach, Cumberland Bay, Queens County, NB, April 6, 1915; youngest daughter of Wilbert and Alma(Chapman)Foshay. Wilberta is survived by her three sons, Myron(Della) of Old Ridge, St Stephen, NB, Ivan(Rowena) of Apohaqui,NB and Harold of Young’s Cove, NB, her daughter-in-law, Beulah of Bradley Lake, Rothesay, NB, grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren. Wilberta is the last surviving member of her immediate family. She was predeceased by her parents, Wilbert (1948),Alma (1964), her husband, Edward(1983), son, Leslie(2002), sisters,Muriel(1996, Lona(2001, Erma(1971, Ruby(1905, brothers,Hazen(1930, Haley(1902), daughter-in-law, Evangeline(1998), great grandson, Bradford(1984). Resting at Humphreys Funeral Home, 20 Marks Street, St Stephen, NB (506-466-3110)from where the service will be held in the chapel on Saturday, October 22nd, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. A reception will immediately follow the service, for friends and family in the Humphreys Community Room and Reception Centre. All are welcome to join us. The interment will follow in Cumberland Point Community Cemetery, near her birth place Foshay Beach, Grand Lake, NB. The family will receive friends at the funeral home during a time of visitation on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Expressions of sympathy and donations made to the charity of the donors choice would be appreciated by the family or care of the Cumberland Point Community Cemetery.
