Obituary of Bev Davis
DAVIS, BEVERLEY - Passed away at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Sunday, December 16th, 2018; Bev Davis, husband of Ellen (Russell) Davis of Oak Bay, NB. Born in St Stephen, NB; he is the son of the late George & Veta (Emerson) Davis, and Marion Gough. Bev worked for many years in St.Stephen as the owner & proprietor of Davis Fuels. He was well known to his friends of one who enjoyed hobby farming and in his retirement years developed a real enthusiastic passion for hobby farming. Surviving in addition to his wife Ellen are his children, Ross (Jody) of St Stephen, NB, Suzanne Sutherland (Richard) of Rolling Dam, NB, Shelly Bovay (Rod) of Baltimore, ON, Mary Jane Lewis (Darren), step daughter Kim Lewis (Dexter), all of Oak Bay, NB, sister Margaret, half sister Joanna , 10 grandchildren Joseph, Emily, Bradley, Lindsay, Jordan, Victoria, Lucas, Kali, Ryan, and Cameron, 3 great grandchildren Laikyn, Callen and Kensley. Bev was predeceased by his son Billy Jo, step son Duane, granddaughter Bethany. Friends and family are welcome to attend a celebration of his life on Thursday, December 20th, 2018 at the St. Croix Christian Centre, (Milltown) St. St. Stephen from 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm. An interment will take place later in the spring in Oak Bay Rural Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations to the Saint John Regional Hospital Palliative Care Unit or to the Oak Bay Rural Cemetery would be appreciated by the family.
