Obituary of Timothy Ohden Greene
Greene, Timothy Ohden
Timothy Ohden Greene unexpectedly passed away at his home in Grand Harbour on Grand Manan Island, on Saturday August 3, 2024. He was the son of the late James and Edwina Greene, born on Grand Manan Island.
Survived by his sisters Theresa Green (Kendall), Heather Green, Shelley Mullen (Behn), brother Barry Green (Kathy McLaughlin), niece Jennifer Moore, great-nephew Sal Presti (Kayla Stone), great-niece Katarina Presti (Adam Oliver), and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
In addition to his parents he was predeceased by Betty-Jean Virginia Greene.
Timothy was a huge fan of the Toronto Blue Jays and loved watching tv and movies. He had a heart of solid gold which led to him offering to help others, often making things worse. He was affectionately known as the “Toolman.” He was a custodian at the school on Grand Manan for many years. After retirement he enjoyed the simple things in life, like watching the boats and having coffee with friends.
Friends and family are invited to a time of visitation, at St. Paul’s Anglican Church ( 3 Ingalls Head Rd, Grand Manan, NB E5G 3G3) on Friday, August 9, 2024 from 6:00 - 8:00PM. A Service of Remembrance and Thanksgiving will be held the following day Saturday, August 10, 2024, 1:00 PM from the church. Burial to follow at Maple Grove Cemetery.
For those who wish, donations made to the Charlotte County SPCA would be greatly appreciated. Timothy had a special love for animals, nature, and wildlife.
