Obituary of M. Elizabeth Grant
GRANT ELIZABETH - At the Charlotte County Hospital on Monday, March 23rd, 2020; Mary Elizabeth (MacKnight) Grant, wife of the late Horace “Brud” Grant of St. Stephen, NB. Born in St. Stephen she is the daughter of the late Thomas Earle & Ethel (Weatherby) MacKnight. For many years Elizabeth worked as a customer Service representative for BMO. She also worked at the Currency Exchange. Elizabeth is survived by 1 sister Jeannette Johnson of Portland, Oregon, U.S.A., several cousins, nieces and nephews. Sister Annie Louise Leblanc of St. Stephen, NB, passed away on May 28, 2020 and brother Wayne MacKnight, who pased away January 13, 2021 & sister in law Tanya MacKnight, who passed away January 19, 2023.
Cremation took place. A memorial graveside service will take place at Old Ridge Cemetery, on Friday, July 26th, 2024 at 11:00 am. A reception will take place later in the day at the Oak Bay School House at 3:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers donations to a charity of the donors’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
