McCray, Kenneth Elwood
Peacefully at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital on Sunday May 19, 2024.
Ken is survived by his son; Mike and Jamie, daughters-in-law; Courtney and Jen, grandchildren Zoey and Jacob brother, Steven (Lois), sisters; Penny and Sandra (Gary), nieces & nephews; Candy, Troy, Sabrina, Michael, Bradley, Katie, Kurt, Allyssa, and Jaxon and by his partner Tina Smith.
Predeceased by his parents Oswald and Lillian McCray, brothers; Rob and Dale “Pint” and nephews; Matthew and Leonard.
Kenny was valedictorian of his graduating class but was unable to attend the graduation ceremony due to a motorcycle accident. After high school he attended NBCC, where he studied civil engineering. Continuing his academic success, he graduated 3rd in his Class.
Ken spent many years working as a carpenter in the construction and engineering industries. His vast knowledge and expertise on the job sites earned him respect everywhere he worked.
Kenny’s family and friends were very important to him, he never missed a chance to enjoy spending time with them. He had a passion for boats, living off the land, traveling, and collecting coins. He was a big music fan, especially country and rock and roll music. He will be remembered for always having a good time with family and friends.
Cremation has taken place, friends and family are invited to celebrate Kenny’s life on Friday May 24, 2024, at the Upper Mills Cemetery (Hall Road Upper Mills NB) at 1PM.
