Raymond worked in his life as a machinist and a commercial fisherman. Early on he worked for the Sugar Refinery in Saint John, NB, then on to the Woodland Mill in Woodland Me, U.S.A.      Raymond is survived by his son Raymond G. “Gordie” (Shirley) of Fairborn OH, 3 daughters Bonnie Bryant (David) of Jacksonville FL, Deborah Duke  of FL, & Cindy Welock of Jensen Beach FL, 8 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

Raymond was predeceased by his wife Vivian, his daughter Linda Otto and his son in law Doug Welock.

A service in celebration of Raymond’s life will be held on Saturday April 6th, 2024 at 2:00 pm at St. Anne’s Anglican Church, Welshpool Campobello, NB. Canon Kevin Borthwick officiating. A reception will immediately follow the service, to be held in the church hall. The burial will take place later in the spring in the adjoining church cemetery.
