Obituary of Kathleen Mary Cook
Cook, Kathleen Mary (Robinson)
Passed peacefully on January 3, 2024, at the Charlotte County hospital at the age of 85. Born in St. Stephen Kathleen “Kay” was the daughter of the late James & Estella (McShane) Robinson. Kathleen was predeceased by her late husband Maurice “John” Cook.
She will be deeply missed by her children; Kathy Perrin (Clinton), of Rothesay, NB, John Cook of Rollingdam NB, Peter Cook (Twig) of Milltown NB, Patty Smith (Jeff) of Lynnfield NB, Terry Cook (Curtis Howe) of Hampton NB, Jeff Cook (Krista) of Old Ridge, grandchildren; Luke, Lauren, Sarah, Allison, Clinton (Ashley), Christopher (Karen), Carter, Palmer, Jennifer, Nicolas (Paige), Great Grandchildren; Aurora, Mira, Rayen, Bentley, Grayson, Simon, Charlee, Cash and several nieces and nephews.
Predeceased in addition to her parents and husband by her grandson Clayton and brother George Robinson.
Kathleen worked for Ganong’s before spending 28 years as the Laundry Supervisor at the Charlotte County Hospital. Kay spent her many years of retirement with her family, she especially loved travelling with them. Kay’s many hobbies included knitting, gardening, and cooking. She was an active member at her church the New Life Christian Assembly in Old Ridge and always lent a helping hand at community events. She will be remembered most for always enjoying life to the fullest.
The family wishes to thank Dr. Lister and the caring staff at the Charlotte County Hospital and Extra Mural for their tremendous care and compassion shown towards Kay.
Cremation has taken place, a memorial service will be held at the Moores Mills Rural Cemetery on Saturday January 6, 2024, at 2PM, Rev. Doug McLean, and Michelle Smith to officiate.
