It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Ron Malloy at his residence in Brockway N.B. on Thursday November 16, 2023 following a long battle with heart failure.
Born in St. Stephen New-Brunwick, he was the son of the late Donald and Freda (Fisher) Malloy.
Ron is survived by his partner, Leslie Monaghan, children Kelly Malloy, Nicole Malloy Fortune, Joel Monaghan-Malloy (Jenna), Michael Monaghan-Malloy, granddaughters; Mikyah Fortune andBrooklyn Eldridge, brother Donald Malloy, sister in law Jean Malloy and nephew Brandon Malloy.
In addition to his parents, Ron was predeceased by infant daughter Amy Elizabeth.
Ron spent most of his career working for Immigration Canada, retiring as area manager. He loved spending time at the cottage, fishing, boating, listening to the loons and spending time with his golden retriever, Pickles. Many people knew Ron as a talented musician and founding member of the Diablos. Over the years Ron played in numerous bands and made long lasting friendships. He mastered many genres of music, but especially loved playing and listening to jazz.
As per Ron’s wishes cremation has taken place, a graveside memorial will be planned for a later date.
For those who wish, donations in memory of Ron can be made to Charlotte County SPCA or a charity of one’s choice.
