It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Patricia "Patty" Hilda Upham (Miles) on the 31st of October, 2023 at her home in St. Stephen. She was a loyal wife to Greg for 43 years and a loving mother to Kim Dickson (Paul), John Upham (Amanda) and Cindy Yetman (Ben). Patty was a proud Grammie to Dax, Denver, and Parker (Dickson); Lyla, Evelyn, Samuel, and Amelia (Yetman); and Blake and Maisie (Upham).
She is survived by her parents Ab and Dot Miles; siblings Abbie (Diane) Miles, Dorothy (Hazen) Hughes, Terri (Don) Sinclair, Marx (Lynn) Miles, Nancy (Mayhew) Lloy; father and mother-in-law Myron and Della Upham, sister-in-law Cindy (Keith) Mann, and numerous nieces and nephews all of whom she deeply cherished.
Born in Moncton, Patty moved to St Stephen in 1980 where she worked side-by-side in business with Greg until retiring in 2013. Summers from childhood until her last days were spent at Grand Lake surrounded by family and were full of lots of laughter. She made many memories and friendships travelling south, cruising, and playing pickleball. A committed Christian, Patty had an unwavering faith that helped her overcome all life’s obstacles including her recent battle with cancer. Patty was a good friend to many and was known for her meek, gentle nature who always put others before herself. She welcomed everyone with a warm smile and open arms.
