Obituary of Olive I. Russell
RUSSELL OLIVE - Peacefully at the Grand Manan Nursing Home on Wednesday, October 25, 2023, at the age of 97. Born in North Head Grand Manan, NB. She is the daughter of the late Harvey A.N. & Eleanor A. (Smith) Tatton.
Olive was a life long resident of Grand Manan, except for a few years in Saint John. She was a dedicated house wife and mother raising her children, grand children and great grandchildren.
Olive is survived by her 2 daughters Eleanor Iva (Mickie/James Eddington of Fredericton, NB, Wendy Rozannese Cyr (Dan) of Saint John, NB, 4 sons Gregg Owen Russell (Wanda)of Grand Manan, NB, Dana Lloyd Russell(Patricia), Wayne Allison Russell (Casandra) of Woodstock, NB and Todd Richard Russell (Valerie) of Riverview, NB, 12 grandchildren, many great grandchildren.
She is also survived by her younger brother Gene Manford Tatton (Joyce).
Olive was predeceased by her husband Lloyd(Bill) Ellsworth Russell, son Rodney, sister Mary Elizabeth Killen, brothers Harold Smith Tatton, Osborne Lawson Tatton, Bernard Evan Tatton, & Allison George Tatton.
The family will receive friends at North Head Baptist on Saturday the 28th from 12:00 noon until 1:00 pm.
The funeral service in celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, October 28th, 2023 at 1:00 pm at North Head Baptist Church. Rev. David Phillips officiating. The interment will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery,in Castalia, (family only).
