Of Hoyt NB passed peacefully on Sunday October 1, 2023, at the Saint John Regional Hospital at the age of 93. He is survived by his daughter Rebecca (Ken) Moulding, Calgary AB, son Michael (Kim) Foster, Hoyt NB, his grandchildren Ray (Catherine) Moulding, Calgary AB, Blake (Vanessa) Moulding, Olando FL, Michael Ryan Foster, St. Stephen NB, Ashley Foster, St. Stephen NB, Chantele Foster, Miami FL, step-grandson Cameron (Madi), Storey, Red Deer AB, 9 great-grandchildren, several brothers, sisters nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his wife Maxine (nee Hudson) Foster, his daughter Colleen Foster and grandson Jared Moulding.

Elzie worked for NB Power for many years before retiring, he was an avid Hunter and fisherman. He had many great stories of yesteryears.

The family would like to extend their many thankyous to the Oromocto Extra Mural for their weekly visits, which Elize so looked forward to, Marysville Walk-In-Clinic (Dr. Hughson and Dr. Hanson), to the EMT’s for being so quick with getting him to the hospital, the great emergency staff at DECG and the staff at the SJRH CCIU for their tremendous care and compassion.

Elzie will be forever loved by all that got to know and meet him.

As per Elzie's wishes cremation has taken place, there will be no visitation or funeral.
