Obituary of Carmelle M.A. Garant
It is with great sadness that we share the peaceful passing of Carmelle at Lincourt Manor on September 15th 2023 at the age of 78 with her family at her side.
To honour her wishes, there will be no service.
Carmelle is the 4th of 17 children born in St. Fabien-de-Panet Quebec. At a young age, she moved to Quebec City for work and later to Cambridge Ontario where she met her husband Alain and married May 18th, 1968. Life brought them to New Brunswick in 2011 to rejoin their daughter and family.
She leaves behind her husband Alain, Daughter Julie Boyd (Kevin), Grandson James Boyd (Megan Ann Smith) and Great Grandson Colton Boyd.
To Carmelle, family and friends were her greatest treasure. She may have been small in stature but mighty in love.
We would like to thank everyone that took part in her care over the last 3 years. For every expression of well wishes, every meal, every visit, every smile we are thankful. We are eternally grateful to her "sister from another mother" for her unwavering support and the staff at Lincort Manor for their care and compassion not only for Carmelle but her family as well.
Life is a beautiful quilt stitched together piece by piece with many different fabrics. When the seams come unstitched, thread the needle and stitch it again. There was no such thing to Carmelle as scraps in her life nor in her quilts. She saw beauty in everything.
If you wish, a donation to a local charity of your choice whether it be monetary, your time or your service would an honor to her memory.
