Obituary of Allen J. Locke
LOCKE ALLEN J. – At the Grand Manan Nursing Home on Monday August 14th, 2023; Allen Joseph Locke, husband of the late Marilyn Y. (Ingalls)
Born on Grand Manan he is the son of the late Gordon & Muriel Louise (French) Locke.
Allen was a fisherman all of his life working in the lobster, scallop and handline industries. He loved to also trout fish, hunt and go to the camp.
Allen is survived by his daughter Naomi Brooks of Musquash, NB, son Mark Locke (Billie – Jo) of Grand Manan, NB, grandchildren Jacob Brooks, Kelsey Brooks, Chayse Small, Jonah Locke, great grandchildren Hudson Brooks and Emmalyn Bainbridge, 4 sisters Shirley (Paul) Brown, Mary Neil (Sandy) Flagg, Cathy Locke and Heather Lahey.
Allen was predeceased by his wife Marilyn, brothers Phillip French, Maynard Locke, and son in law Kirk Brooks.
By Allen's request, cremation will take place. There will be no visitation. A family graveside service will take place at a later date.
In lieu of flowers donations to the Alzheimers Society, Charlotte County Cancer Society or Grand Manan Nursing Home would be appreciated by the family. Online condolences to the family or donations can be made at www.humphreysfh.com
